Could any one tell me why my sky+ box keep freezing?

Could any one tell me why my sky+ box keep freezing?

It could be because of the weather. Mine freezes whenever it rains.

Try switching it off at the plug, count to 20 and then turn back on.

Or take out the card, blow on it, and the place back in.

Both of these, once done will take a few minutes for the sky box to search for the programmes, but then it'll go back to normal :)

Could be the harddrive, give sky a call they will sort it for you.

thats exactly what happened 2 ours try reputting the card in if not then phone the sky + reception tell them then they will probabs give ya a new 1 thats what happened 2 us

you need to do a software up date .pull out the power lead ,hold the back up button in put the power lead back in but keep the back up button pressed all the lights on the front will come on and the screen will tell you its doing a software update that should sort it out

No,but if you remove power plug for 30sec.s. during that time,remove card and wipe,should cure all ills,BUT,be careful which buttons you press on the remote when performing,say,record.
