  1. I went two times and I can't wait to return again.

Is great, a truly paradise.  Lot of things to do, lot of beaches, lot of sun, lot of heat, lot of fun.

I was the first time in the RoyalPark Hotel and the second in the Melia Hotel.

The thing I most liked? The beach

The thing I less liked? Mmmm....people from the USA, Canada and Mexico used very conservative swimsuits.

  2. Riu palace las americas was fabulous you can check out reviews of a couple places on this site and get a great deal.  I found Cancun and the mayan riviera to be too Americanized.  I couldn't even find a Tamale when I went but the beaches were good.  Snorkeling was horrible we did the Isla Mujeres tour and it was a waste of money.

  3. Well If it is your first time going I recommend you Stay at The Moon Palace Resort it is All in-exclusive. You could go to Xpu-ha see animals there. You could also go to Isla Mujeres and swim with the Dolphins in the Royal swim with your children since there only 5 yrs.old. You could go to the Mayan Ruins.

Hope you have fun planning your trip and enjoy,

         P.S.- Hope this helped!!!!

  4. Greetings from Cancun, Elizabeth!

My favorite hotels are the Palace Resorts. You stay at one and via a free shuttle you can use the properties of the others. These are all-inclusive resorts so you never have to worry about where you are going to eat or what you are going to do with the kids...they have great childrens programs.

    What to do?

Lay by the pool, go to the beach, shop at the great malls, shop for souvenirs go on tours...

Speaking of tours...from Cancun you have the whole Rivera Maya and Yucatan Peninsula.

Just a short boat ride away is Isla Mujeres. There you can snorkel, shop, sightsee, eat or just lay on the beach...or do it all.

Want to see some Maya ruins? I would suggest taking a bus tour to Chichen Itza...now one of the "new" 7-wonders of the world.

How about a park that offers Mexico's nature and culture. Then Xcaret is for you. There are underground rivers, beaches, coral reef aquarium, butterfly pavilion, orchids greenhouse, mayan village, archaeological sites and more. There is an all inclusive area for towels, snorkel equipment, lockers and food.

Other things to do...Jungle Tour, Swim with Dolphins, Xeh-ha natural water park, deep sea fishing...the list keeps going on and on.

There are lots of companies that offer these tours but when my friends and family come down they always use

The same company offers private airport pick up as well.

Hope this helps...have a great vacation with your kids!

  5. The first item you need to make a decision about is if you wish to stay at a European Plan resort which includes the room only in the price, or an All-Inclusive resort where meals and beverages are included in the price. Of course you pay more for the All-Inclusive resorts because of obvious reasons, so you may not benefit since you are traveling with young children. The upside is you can often find a much better quality EP resort for the same money you would pay to stay at an AI resort. Here are a few to consider and investigate:

    Gran Melia-offers AI and EP

    Le Meridien-great kid's club

Hilton Golf & Spa Resort-an even better kid's club

Don't worry about finding a restaurant to eat in, there are literally hundreds to choose from in Cancun, seriously. If you do wish to stay at an AI resort, the following receive great reveiws from travelers with children:

    Dreams Resort

    Great Parnassus

    Crown Paradise Club

    Riu Cancun

    Gran Caribe Real

    Barcelo Tucancun

I know this seems like a lot of choices, but that's the beauty of Cancun's Hotel Zone, you have lots of choices. Whatever you do, enjoy the process because planning the trip is really half the fun.

    Happy Planning,

  6. Hotel Dreams Cancun.

You kids will love it and even swim with their dolphins. Check next site

    Best luck

  7. Mayan Palace at Riviera Maya, the biggest pool in the surroundings, heated, open all night, transport from the lobby to the pool, parking lot, golf, entrance, to your room, big hotel with spa, gym, grocerie store, restaurants, bars, etc, and a lot of iguanas, great stuff, very close to atractions.

  8. Melia Turquista and the Krystal...the Krystal is on the upper end of the hotel zone...you can walk to most shopping and restrauntants...beach is right outside the door...theres a walmart downtown if you need anything...we go and buy snacks and fruit...water etc...the water is safe to drink in the hotel zone...bus costs .65 paseos...do not get your paseos at the airport or hotel...find a bank you will get best exchange rate....
