  1. I'd recommend the Top Table site - it gives details of various restaurants in London, including sample menus, average costs and you can book the one you like.

  2. that would depend on where abouts in London you want to be. I agree that the top table site is a good start. You could also try london-eating.co.uk and squaremeal.co.uk.

Both allow you to search by cuisine and area of london. Good luck!

  3. First you need to decide what style you would like to eat and what part of town you are going to be in - and quite importantly your budget!  Here are some suggestions with a price guide too.

    No 1: Maze, W1K, Simply outstanding - £££

    Tapas: Navarro's, Charlotte Street - £

    Pub: The Easton, Clerkenwell WC1 - £

    Sushi: Donzoko, Kingly Street W1B - ££

Japenese: Itsu, Wardour Street, Soho - ££

Thai: Busaba Eathaia or Satsuma, Wardour Street, Soho - £

Dim Sum: Yauatcha, Broadwick Street, Soho - £££

French: Andrew Edmunds, Lexington Street, Soho - ££

    Italian: Latium, Berners Street, W1T - ££
