Hello everyone!!

My name is Elly (elizabeth). I'm 5 months pregnant and just found out I am having twin girls... I was wondering what you think of a couple baby names I have in mind. Constructive criticism is ok.

1. Lillian Genevieve & Gwendolyn Rose (named after my grandmothers)

2. Brianna Elizabeth & Adrianna Christine (after my husband and I)

3. Ashlynn Desirae & Amaris Gabrielle (nothing special here. i just like the sound of them)

Thanks for your help!

  1. congrats on twins!!

and i suggest finding cute names that you like now and think that they will like when their older.

also i recommend names that dont sound too close together because you want independency (if thats a word haha)

you can go to google and search baby names.. but here are some cute ones

    Jenelle

    Jennifer

Ashlynn - that one you picked (idk about desirae though, sorry)

    Chelsie

thats all i can think of try the site below, though

    Congrats again and good luck!!

  11. AGH! Don't make them rhyme! Believe me, that's humiliating to your kids. They want to be their own person.

Although I think Brianna is getting a lot more common than it used to be, I think you should still use it. Those names sound really pretty and I like them . =)

  17. I love Brianna and Adrianna. Good luck

  18. I like all the names, really, but I would have to say LILLIAN GENEVIEVE & GWENDOLYN ROSE are my favs!

  19. Brianna and Adrianna are perfect

  20. I love Lillian Geneveive and Gwendolyn Rose - BEAUTIFUL!!!

  21. #2 for sure!

  22. My very faves of yours are the first ones, Lillian Genevieve & Gwendolyn Rose.

My husband and I are naming our first daughter after our grandmothers-- Eleanor Yvonne- His grandmother's name is Ella, his great-grandmother's name is Nora, so I thought Eleanor would be a nice combination-- and Yvonne is my grandmother's name.

The grams will be pleased :)  Also, I find those choices to be more classics.

  23. First of all, whatever names you choose, some people will always like them, and there will always be an equal number of people who hate them. The most important thing is to choose something YOU like. Saying that, though, a name that flows nicely and sounds and looks pleasant, and is not a "passing fad name" that will date with time, is the best bet.

For that reason I would avoid names such as Brianna and Ashlynn. They might seem hip today, but the children have to live with the names all their lives, and you don't want their names to be the equivalent of "Susan" or "Pamela", fifties and sixties names that today seem old fashioned.

I think that Lillian Genevieve and Gwendolyn Rose would be the best bet, but Elizabeth and Gabrielle are beautiful names so I would consider mixing and matching a little! Good luck!

  24. I like the num one choice. your grandmothers will be honored to have them named after them.

  25. #1
