  1. well  theres this place in Urbandale,IA an dits called I think DVD transfers. Its right next to a HyVee and a Hallmark. I'm not sure about equipment though, but i had my videos transfered into DVDs at that place (DVD transfers)

  2. There are a number of ways.  There are a number of commercial organisations which will do it for you or you can connect your VCR to your PC (your PC will need to have a video capture card) or (as I do) connect your VCR to a standalone DVD recorder - need a set of cables and takes 2 mins.  There are loads of guides available on the net.  Or course you can buy a combined VCR and DVD player which is simplest.

  3. There are programs/equipment out there but you have to do lots of thigns to get it to work. It would be better off if you go to a professional and get it done professionally.

  4. a converter      You can buy at any electronic store

  5. Quickest and simplest way is to use a VHS tape player and DVD recorder as I have done.

  6. Most difficult but cheapest = video capture card or USB dongle and use DVD burner in the PC.

Easiest and most expensive = combined VCR and DVD-recorder.
