Could anyone recommend a good microwave?

My microwave is no longer working and I need to replace it. Could anyone advise on the best microwave to buy, thanks.

I have a Sharp Carousel that we bought at least 8 years ago and it is a workhorse.

Buy the most powerful you can afford i.e. 1000 watts or more, don`t be tempted to buy one of the "combi" type that grills or roasts `cos they do none of the tasks very well. Make is not really an issue as most of the parts come from the same factory.

i  have a sharp 1200 watt black microwave and i love it to death, i don't have to wait for ever for something to heat up, and i just recently just brought that one, and it is the same exact one from the first one that just stop working from over use age lol

i have a sanyo superwave its an oven and grill 2, i have had it 8 years and its still going strong (i bet i will break down now i said that ) lol. but if u buy a good make it should be fine and they r all pretty reasonabally priced now
