Could anyone recommend me some music similar to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack?

Instead of me simply getting movie soundtracks, are there any artists/ composer's making music in the vein of the LOTR ost?

I came across a band called "Brobdingnagian Bards" a few years ago mainly in the niche of celtic/folk music. At the time of when LOTR movies came out the bards created their own tribute to Tolkien's Hobbit and LOTR called "Memories of Middle Earth. If you mean the kind of music that mixes dark choir with powerful orchestra, which is so prevalent in the LOTR soundtracks, then there are several Star Wars (John Williams) themes that are similar, especially on 'The Phantom Menace' and 'The Return of the Jedi' soundtracks.  Also try the original score for 'The Matrix Revolutions'.

Most of the music in the Lord of the Rings was made by Enya. She has alot of similar songs and probly some you've heard of before. Try looking for her.
