Could anyone stand Victory V lozenges?

Thanks for the memory, I had forgotten all about them but must say I loved them along with Fishermens Friends and those little Imps.

They were great in those far off days before central heating, on a really cold day we would give elsie ( a very practised chatterbox) three victory v`s then all sit around her tongue.

i wasn't keen on Victory Vs but Imps I adored. I don't see them nowadays.

I used to eat loads of packets of Victory V lozenges especially when I had a cold because they really cleared the nasal passages lol.

I used to buy Victory V gums too.  

One thing I definitely did have problems with were those big, thick, white mints made by Trebor.....Extra Strong Mints.  Extra Strong? That was an understatement!  They'd blow my head off lol.

I was sick on one as a youngster and even to this day at the sheer mention of the "V" word makes me want to retch. *shudder*
