Design a communications link using quantum entanglement. Such a link would have unlimited range, avoiding the myriad problems of conventional radio links. No microcontrollers or PLCs are needed, but you would need a suitable laser.

Such a communication link would also work underwater or underground, where radio has an extremely limited range, often only a few inches.
