algebra is a branch of math that deals with structure and quantity.  Algebra uses factorization, roots, etc.  there are a lot of different aspects to algebra; it would be difficult to explain the whole subject to you on this blog page so if you have a few sample problems that you are having difficulty with, that would really help.  it would be easier to help with problems and try to explain the out come rather than just explain the whole concept of algebra

you try to solve the problem in simple way don't go for long methods and all and think it as a simple.

hi Stacey. Algebra is one of the branch of mathematics . It is very very simple. Algebra is used in order to determine the values which are not known to us. We can use any letter to replace the unknown values. It could be "x" or "y" or any other alphabet. The difficult part of algebra is calculation. But that becomes easy as you become used to it. All u need to do is to think of the variables as numbers and you can easily do it.
