Could building driverless cars become possible in the near future?

Driverless cars exist today, however the infrastructure to implement them is not.  Also they don't do too well in bad weather, if the roads are icy for instance you just need that human touch to keep it between the ditches.

Anything could be possible if a person thinks that they could do it. Anything could be done. Yes, I definitely think that could be possible.
