I have a visa problem and have to go to the Ministry of Home affairs at 26, jailelmer House, 26, Mansingh Road.

Could someone pls give me more details about the location of the ministry ? In which area is it ? any landmarks?How can I get there. Any details that would help me to get there are welcomed.

I'd also like to know about the budget hotels near the ministry. I just want to stay for a day , get my work done and leave...

This building is situated near hotel Taj Mansingh.on Mansingh Road,New Delhi.You can stay in YMCA hostel at jantar Mantar Road or on Janpath u may got lot of guest house and by Three Wheeler Auto Rickshaw u can up and down to jaiselmer house. It is about 5 km from Connought place.

The ministry for home affairs which I know is in Khan market near to Nizamuddin station. But i don't know for sure about the address you're giving.

The Khan market building is for foreigners. Perhaps there is a difference from the one you have to go to but it is a big place and I would not have thought there would be a seperate one for deshis. I may be wrong.

Sounds like you meant Jeiselmer House. Wrong spelling.

If you contact the Khan Market Home Ministry Office they should make it clear but sorry I don't have their number.

Don't know budget hotels other than Pahar Ganj next to New Delhi station which is full of them and not so far from anything because of the metro train or the ordinary train.
