Could falling on your knees on cement cause brain damage?

Like the force of falling down a very steep driveway on to your knees then hands...the fall being caused by falling from a fast pace walk then tripping

  1. No way, no. Only if you fell from a high building, then a fracture in the base of the skull may occur. But the way you mentioned, not a chance.

    And for the one who said the only way to get brain damage is by getting a hit in the head, this is not true.  Incidence of head injury in feet first landings: 8.3% to 60%. Ring fracture of the base of the skull- encircling the hole through which the spinal cord passes downwards (foramen magnum) can be caused by a fall onto the feet or onto the top of the head.


  2. no! the only way to get brain damage is trama to the head, or lack of blood flow to the brain!

  3. It might destroy a few brain cells and grind away at a few joints but i dont think that you could get brain damage from that. I certainly havent.
