  1. Yes because as the oceans warm the currents will change and slow down.  Those currents are called conveyors which help moderate the climates closer to the poles.  So in theory if the conveyors stop it could cause for instance Europe to go into a deep freeze during the winter.  But there are so many other factors involved no one is sure about any of this and the effects of global warming.

  2. you basically contradicted what you asked, "could globAl-not EL warming be the cause in the next ice age". The answer would be NO, why and how could it? If the earth is heating up and causing ice to melt, then why would ice freeze all over the world?

  3. warming.... ice age.......hmmmm don't think that'll be an issue.

  4. Yes. When the heat has increased to such a level that everything is dead, nothing will produce CO2.

The CO2 levels will drop and the temperature will drop because the CO2 reflects heat back the Earth after the light is reflected from the surface of the Earth (Greenhouse affect).

When temperatures drop you get an Ice Age!

  5. Temperatures around the world are always increasing and decreasing in cycles.  Remember for each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.   Warming in one place is offset in another by a subsequent cooling in another.   This is really best depicted in the life cycle of a thunderstorm.  You reach saturation levels and rain ensues.  After the precipitation occurs evaporation happens and that evaporation is a releaase of heat and subsequently you get cooling.
