  1. no

  2. yes and no... i had a hamster and i went on vacation for a month and she crawled on my arm ! but my other hamster bit me .. so i cant say :]

  3. definitely.

everytime i come home, my hamster wakes up and greets me.

and it crawls onto my hand even when i place him on a large surface

  4. Dwarfs do not remember, but Syrian's are more likely to remember and grow to love their owners. Though I'm sure if you left them alone for a long time, they would forget about you.

  5. I think they can! I used to have an hamster and every time I came home it would scratch on the cage and I would pick him up! Then he would kiss me!!!

  6. yes!!!! my hamster knows who i am he can tel who i am when my friends pick him um he is weird but when i hold him he is the nice hamster

  7. It depends on how well you interact and train them. If you interact with them on a daily basis and play with them often, they start trusting your sound and smell and become friendly with you. However, hamsters have short memories, especially dwarfs, and they can forget familiar smells after 10 days. So if you have been on a vacation and returned after 10 days, your hamster might think of you as a stranger and it will take some days to make it get used to you again.

  8. yes. if the hamster has good memories of treats and cuddles with the owner he won't forget.
