Could having an abortion at planned parenthood cause blocked tubes?

If there was a postoperative infection it could cause scarring or blockages.  But if there were no complications, everything should be fine.

no it dose not cause blocked tubes, where ever u heard that from was wrong, having a abortion can cause scar tissue in some cases but that is if u that lots of them...

I've read about a lot of problems with they way they give abortions.

There have been thousands of botched abortions, but since they have unlimited funding from the taxpayers, they can pay off on all the many lawsuits.

No wonder it costs taxpayers about 2 million per abortion.

I think we should quit funding this irresponsible organization.

Technically it is possible, especially if you're family has a history o eptopic pregnancies. Though, if there appears to be no complications, it's probably not something you have to worry about.

If you are seriously concerned of the risk, you should see if the clinic and check for scarring after your post-op check up.

Wow people are really closed minded. It's 2008 people and last I checked abortion was still legal.

About your question...an abortion anywhere has its risks. blocked tubes being one of them. And ignore these people...I don't think they have ever heard of womens rights.

Uterine scarring from an abortion can cause a blocked tube, and the risk is about the same whether you go to Planned Parenthood or someplace else.

Why not ask them?!  Or don't you trust what they'll tell you?  In reality, you shouldn't.  Abortion mills rarely cite the very real possible complications and mental/emotional effects of killing one's unborn child.

By the way, are you a person of color?  Then you should read up and educate yourself to what Margaret Sanger (the founder of Planned Parenthood) believed about birth control and abortion.  Her mission and goal was to seriously diminish the population of minorities.  She was a racist to the core.

No, I've had one there and I now have 2 kids and got pregnant more then these 2 times.
