  1. OMG!!!  What hospital were you in???

I had an emergency c-section because I was too small and my baby was in distress with cord compression as well as it being wrapped around his neck.  After that - I just scheduled c-sections (3 more).  Although he was my heaviest baby (8 lbs. 9 1/2 oz.s), I was so glad that I didn't have to go through that again.

  2. I'm sure if you have the same doctor, they would opt for a c-section.  All you can do is ask, and they will do the medical part of thinking it through.  It depends on a million things, but with this situation, I would think they would be prepared, as well as you are, to plan for a c-section.

  3. im sure if you are using the same doc as before she will recommend a c section. my doctor planned a c section when i was pregnant because my pelvis is so small. im sure you can demand one after your experience. good luck with next baby:)

  4. omg i would definatly switch dr.s and h**l ya you have the right to a c-sectin if there is any risk to your child!!!!!

  5. Yeah, talk to your doctor. Good Luck

  6. yes, u can request a c-section

  7. yes   based on the complications you have had  ( doctor should have checked the size of your pelvic bone) before birth ..same thing happend to a friend and she was in labor 24hrs  before the Doc  checked her again and discovered  there was no way  this child was to be born  naturally. In the end he came out black and blue ( eyes )  and stayed this way for nine months!! he is a teen now  and has vision issues ( will never ride a bike or drive ) due to a Doctors insistance that she could have it vaginally...Please Please insist on this ( your Doctor should have checked you numerous times  to be sure there are no complications.( you may have a  narrow pelvis ) so that being said....The Doctor broke your  baby's  bones !! Period !!

This is just my opinion - but if I were you I would INSIST ON A C- SECTION -  I have had 2 of them - its not easy...  you will have to meal plan ahead and have a house keeper come in and have someone else watch your other child until you fully heal...

age is just a number - if you excercise a lot- excessively  ( my friend did ) you can actually narrow the birth canal - her case

  8. I would find a new OB next time. I had a high risk pregnancy and my OB knew that my son was big so he said there was no way I could deliver normally so he arranged the c-section. I would just find an OB who would respect your wishes of having a c-section. Good luck and I am glad your little boy is okay and doing well.

  9. I would talk with your ob, before you have another baby. They will be able to tell you what is best for you and the baby. If your doctor doesn't agree with you find another doctor. You can't put you or your baby through something like that. Your son was lucky.

  10. Yes just ask your doctor.

  11. hmm thats interesting my mom had that problem with all three of us but they looked before hand and say that our heads were too big so they opted for a c-section for all of us

  12. ya why not?

you talk to your doctor about it and decide it before hand, it will be better and benificial for both you and your child.
