As long as doing so doesn't violate the agreement you have with your e-mail provider (if any) then you are quite free to auction it off, you just need to find someone interested in buying it.

Sure there are a lot of auctions for this on Ebay right now. You might notice there doesn't seem to be a HUGE demand to pay for a email address it seems. Perhaps you have an email address that is quite creative or clever and will sell.
