  1. No maths, obviously very poor english skills. That and a desire to kill would only be useful if a terrorist was on your plane.

    Therefore the answer is no.

  2. a friend of mine is about to start pilot training, its costing him over £40,000. I believe you need normaly need some sort of masters degree in mathematic, aviation or engineering. You will also have to sit some aptitude tests and health tests before being accepted.

My friend will be taking pilot training in Scotland and thats whats needed, maybe in the USA they let any idiot train to be a pilot

  3. You dont have to be good at maths to become a private pilot.

However it takes a year and a half of dedicated hard work to become a commercial pilot, if thats what your on about?

I would polish up on your maths like i did try to atleast aim for a C minimum same with English Langauge.

    Good Luck!

  4. knowing how to spell would help also

  5. You don't need a lot to be a pilot.  Just a strong will and a willingness to learn.  It will be tough at first during ground school.  Usually you want ground school to coincide with flying.  No set grades are needed.  I go to a community college in North Carolina that teaches ground school and across the street is a flight school.  It is open enrollment so anyone who has graduated high school can join.  Also, being good at math helps, but it is not required.  I'm not that good at math, but hey, I am a private pilot.

  6. You will need to be reasonably good at maths, in order to calculate fuel loads etc, and I would strongly advise you to brush up on your english skills too. I am not trying to be nasty here, but these are really important points.
