  1. Just cook the d**n thing, it takes all of a few minutes, and it's safer.

  2. Sure you ca.  There's a bit of a risk but it's not that great.

  3. Absolutely NOT. This is disgusting, and why would you do such a thing when there are all sorts of on-the-go foods, yogurts, and beverages that you could consume instead. This is extremely unhealthy, and you could get very, VERY sick.

Try a protein drink, a yogurt smoothie, or a piece of fruit when you are in a hurry or before a workout.

If you are really in the mood for eggs and don't have a lot of time on your hands you can cook them in the microwave. Allow me to explain:

Take a small, glass bowl, and spray it with Pam cooking spray (or something like it). Then crack the egg open from up high, so you break the yolk when it lands in the bowl. Add a little splash of milk, some salt and pepper to taste and cover bowl with a paper towel (This is actually a lot faster than I am making it sound! :o) ) Pop the bowl and paper towel into the microwave and cook on high for 45 seconds.  Lift up the paper towel and stir the concoction with a fork, gently. Then put back in the microwave for an additional 15 seconds (or until all of the liquid is gone [cooked])  CAUTION: the egg will be hot! You can then eat the egg in the glass bowl or plop it into an on-the-go paper cup and eat with a plastic fork.

    Hope that helps. :o)

  4. About 1 in 100,000 eggs are infected with salmonella, so it's not likely, but it is quite possible; about 170,000 people are infected with it in the US every year.

Why not just have a protein shake or bar?  Or boil an egg the night before and eat it in the morning?
