Could i ever become a model???

Question

Being a model is one of my dreams. I'm 5'7", 15 years old.

you could something really commercial but i dont think your face is very high fashion, you look really young and tweeney so you would have to do something for that age... i would stay in school though

Wow, you're really pretty. You look like a better version of Miley. I'm not quite sure you're tall enough, but you might be. (Wear heels when you meet an agency.) You're thin, which is great. I think you'd be good for like a teen magazine.

before i saw your figure i was say "no way" but you have the perfect body for modeling but if you got your teeth done then maybe i would deffinitly go after your dream though.

by looks, you definately could.

But height requirements, you would be one inch short.

Girls should be between 5'8 and 5'10, and boys is 6'0 and 6'2.

People kept telling me to be a model, so for the h**l of it i went along to the agency, and they told me i was too tall. Apparently 6'1 is wayyy too tall for a girl, but hey, its not really my thing anyway.

but girls keep growing til theyre around 16, 17 maybe.

I kept growing til i was 18, so you could definately reach 5'8

I guess I mean I don't want to be mean. But you need some dental work but you have a great figure and your tall so I guess that's all you need nowadays because they put so much makeup on models  you can't even see their face.

Sure,why not? Try FORD first though. Why do I say this? Because the other big agencies do not take you if you are under 5'8,for some it is 5'9. Ford's minimum is 5'7.

Well, runway models need to be 5'8" without heels, unless it has changed. The ideal weight for someone who is that height is 120 lbs. (which is completely ridiculous, but that is what I have read.) You definitely look slim enough, I won't ask your weight! I couldn't tell from your pictures because they were side profiles, but your face does look symmetrical and symmetry is something that is vital in the face. I'm no expert, but from what I've read about modeling and general guidelines, you seem like a good candidate. The modeling world is so cruel though, as I'm sure you know, and extremely competitive. No offense, but I do not think that you are good for a model. I am modelling in Japan right now, but most models are over 5'9 at least. You are pretty, but I think that most scouts are looking for someone that has extreme beauty and a different look, one that you would not normally see. Sometimes, you see girls who are so 'beautiful' that they look like aliens, seriously. You are pretty generally, but you need a lot more than just a little prettiness...maybe something else, though, like a VJ for Muchmusic or MTV?

Sorry that I am harsh, but my friends model for Holt Renfrew, and I model as well, so I know from experience. Please don't take this the wrong way, I am not trying to make you feel bad, I just know what most modelling agencies accept.

You definately have the right body.

But now-a-days, high fashion models have to have an edgy, exotic, excentric look, a bit on the ' weird ' side.

You have a really cute face, and you're really beautiful, but you're face doesn't have a very original, standing-out look.

I'll I've got to say is that I love your face structure, you lips are gorgeous, your eyes are deep, and your hair is a very nice cut and look for you, and your body, since it isn't fully developed by the time you get of age you could win antm with a flick of your hand!  =D  Go for it girl!  I can't wait ta see you in a few years on a magazine cover!

honestly:

you are a teensy bit short to be a model. don't get me wrong, you're skinny and you have a great body for modeling but it's just a bit short. at most places the minimum is 5'9. and also, no offense, but you're too regular looking. like, there's nothing special or memorable about your face. just another girl. the only thing i can remember is that you're very toothy and that's not really a good thing. i'm sorry but you're not pretty, you're average. you're not pretty enough to be a commercial model, because your face just wouldn't sell and you're not striking enough to be a high fashion model because you wouldn't make the clothes memorable. but look at the bright side, being a model is about more than just having the right body and face. it's about being photogenic and basically just selling the product. a common misconception that people have is that a model's personality doesn't count but oh, it does. focus on the positives: you're skinny enough, you're close enough in height (you also might still grow), and with the right makeup, you could be a little more memorable. my recommendation is that you go get your teeth fixed, hire a photographer to do a portfolio, and then go to some agencies. you might want to try some local ads before you go to an agency to put in your portfolio. start small. honey, don't let your imperfections stop you. if modeling's your dream, then go for it! just don't be so...bland and regular. you have to stand out.
