Could i finally have my positive hpt 10dpo ? plz read?

Question

yesterday i took a early hpt and it was negative however this morning i took another early test with fmu it says to confirm a negative result leave for 5 mins. after 3 mins the faintest second line came up i had to hold it up to the light it was definatly there though . what do u think could i really be pregnant finally after 11 months or could the test be wrong . i am going to test again tomorrow thank u for your answers x x

i tested at 10dpo and got a pos, even a faint line means hcg is detected so congrats to you, if you test again in a day or  2 the line should be darker

even if the line is faint, it still means you are pregnant as it detected low levels of hCG in your urine!  good luck!

if a second line was there, then u r most probably pregnant, i would say about 95%

One thing that can look like a positive is if you leave the test for too long, the evaporation can cause a 'tide mark' which can look like a second line.  For example some people fish the test out of the bin hours later "just to be sure".   Since you saw a line after 3 mins I don't think that's likely for you.  Congrats :)

I would wait until tomorrow and test again.  If you really are pregnant then you'll get another line tomorrow too.  I never trust one test.  especially if its faint.  I took a test on Friday and it was positive...not as dark as the control line...but definitely not faint either.  every test since then was negative an dnow I have every sign of my period coming.  I'm not saying this will happen to you too, but I would wait to get excited until you can confirm it again.  maybe try a digital so you dont have to interp lines.  also...was the faint line of colour?  because when holding a test up to the light...you can usually see the line of antibodies thats often mistaken for a positive.  good luck.

If you used FMU and you've got a line at 3 minutes, you're pregnant! I would suggest not only that you test again tomorrow, but that you get a blood test for confirmation. Tell the doctor's office that you already got a positive, or they'll mess you around until 14dpo :) Congratulations!
