  1. Yes but just buy a new one USE EBAY

  2. I don't know about in this day and age, but when

I was young, yep, you could find just about

    anything.

Today, there is more of a emphasis on recycling metal

so, I doubt that you could, but I could be wrong.

  3. The possibility exists.

  4. dumps usually have a do-not-take policy. some smaller towns that have limited dump facilities will have an easy going worker who is happy to see you take something to re-use. and alot of people dumping bikes set them aside *hoping* someone can use it. its iffy though, and not worth the trouble of looking. you may get lucky, but youll get luckier on craigslist or fleabay

  5. When people throw out bicycles they don't want, the bike is usually gone in about five minutes.

Just look at any bike that someone leaves by the garbage cans at the curb.

Local bike riders grab up most bikes within minutes, if they are left for the garbage man.

I wouldn't think it would be worth it to dig through a landfill.

  6. yep
