  1. where are you from, i live in canada and surfed all year in a  4/3 with slush caps forming in the water so im sure youll be fine   plus im the greatset

  2. ya you will be fine. it will be alot colder.

  3. Low 50s, you might be a tad uncomfortable at first, but its surely do-able. I surfed in a shorty for years in water in the low 50s. In the high 50s I would say that would be about my norm. 58-65 I'm usually in  a spring suit. Over 65 it's rash guard time.

I been surfing for 42 years and once upon a time, nobody wore rubber this time of year on the east coast. I think the world is full of wimps now, I see dudes in the water in full suits in August when the water is 70 and the air 85. We do have cold water days (caused by 'upwelling') but even then, with warm air, I never do more than a shorty in summer time.

So, to cut to the chase, Yes, you will be fine.

  4. First off, Tyler is a total kook.

Yeah, you should be fine. You might want some booties if you're gonna be out for a bit longer. Let me point out, it depends on more than water temp. If theres heavy winds, its gonna cut right through your suit. with low winds, depending on how long you want to stay out, you should be fine. But the winds gonna make a big difference.
