Could i get in trouble for burning a Quran in public?

I mean they get to burn American flags in public. Johnny Jihad can march down to the courthouse in any city in America and burn a flag in front of the building without getting into trouble. So can i burn the Quran in public? Or would they get me on a technicality such as setting a fire in public? Or maybe consider it a hate crime or something?

  2. You can legally burn a Quran in public in the US, BUT you should worry that you might end up like Theo VanGogh.  Muslims didn't like the documentaries that he made so they beat him to death in the streets of Amsterdam.

    There has been a death sentence on Salomon Rushdie for years because he wrote a book on Islam that Muslims didn't like.  The man went into hiding for decades.

    They don't care about your legal rights.

  3. You could legally do it I think however you seem like a well rounded educated person to therefore you better than stooping to their level.  It could be thought of as a hate crime considering what is going on in today's world but I don't really know..

    Let us not forget that not all Muslims are "bad people".  I am sure their are many good decent Muslims out there, and their only crime is beliving in lies rather than truth, but then are we all not guilty of that at some point?  

    Being a Christian woman if someone was to burn a Bible in my face I would be outraged but I wouldn't cause you physical harm we are all given a free will.  If you choose to do something it is your God Given Right, however it doesnt make it right or without consequences.

  4. They will get you on the technicality. If you are in someplace like New Mogadishu or Berkley they would try for the hate crime though. Burn away, it is worth it an almost everyone will love you for it. Just make sure you have a liberal or radical muslim attached or it is meaningless.

  6. I'm afraid that due to the governments insistence that we treat Muslims with extreme sensitivity, that you would be arrested for a hate crime.

    You see, the streets of America now only go one way, and that is down.  Anyone can burn our flag or burn a bible and that is called freedom of speech.  But if you flush or burn a Quaran, you are not practicing your right to free speech, you are a demented, hate-filled person who needs to be locked up.

    I'm a Catholic and I'm severely offended by this.

    Muslims are not bad people, it's the fundamentalists who are burning the American flag and taking the anti-west stance.

    I ask you to please not burn the Koran. It is a book of such holy value for Muslims, it has never been changed/altered unlike the Bible.

    Be respectful to other religions. Just remember that during the Holocaust the n***s would use the Torah inappropriately and burn it.

  11. No. but would you honestly want to stoop to those towelheads level? yeah they burn our flag, but then they revolt and they get some nice, hot lead in return.

    It also can be used as toliet paper.
