Extracurricular: Volunteered at several hospitals throughout high school, Volunteered at red cross as a blood pressure screener. Shadowed A physician. on drumline through out high school

oh and my major would be civil engineering for pre-med

It's a state school-- you should be able to get in, especially with your extracurriculars and choice of major. The healthcare system is desperate for new  professionals.

You can even get into the alabama institue of technology if you want....a 25 act and a 3.0 gpa is enough...
