  1. Yeah i think u can, my friend did this she went over to africa for 2 weeks and stayed in a village near an orphanage, she and the group she went with took lots of food and other things over to give to the children. She was showing me the pics a few days ago, its amazing what a difference you can make. Hope you get to do what you want, good luck x

  2. If you are willing to pay ALL expenses.

The goal of organizations working in poor countries is to give the local people jobs and to keep money local, not to give Westerners a feel-good vacation/experience -- hence why short-term placement agencies (in contrast to the aforementioned) charge unskilled volunteers a fee, or require these volunteers to pay their own way (flights, in-country transportation, health insurance, accommodation, food, security, translators, training, staff to create the service opportunities and then to supervise and support the volunteers in their service, liaisons with the police and local officials, etc.).

There is a listing of the more-than-30 member organizations of the International Volunteers Program Association (IVPA) that is a good place to find reputable volunteer-for-a-fee programs -- programs where you don't need to have much experience in order to participate, and the placements are just for a few weeks or months:

  3. yes.  Go on various websites.  You can google them. Try V the volunteering service.

  4. Its very unlikely that any organisation wokring in such a challenging environment would take an inexperienced person on for just 2 weeks - there would be no time to train you, acclimatise you and get you in to the job before you had to come home.

Suggest you get some experiemce in this country first so that you have something to offer the organisation.

  5. Cause you can get yourself off have a nice time.

  6. Yes. You don't need experience to help and volunteer.

    Good luck. :)

  7. Yes.  The cannibals welcome you.
