Could i have alcohol poisoning? ?

Question

On Thursday night me and my friend drank a large bottle of Lambrini and had a few vodka shots each which made us tipsy, after I had become sober again later that night as I stayed up late I started to get a headache and pains in my abs, still today I feel sick and still have a headache and these pains.

Could i have alchohol poisoning?

I Dont drink alot, i havent for about 3 weeks before this time.

in other words you have drunk a lot in a short space of time

stop drinking and it will go away

Alcohol is poison.

But no, alcohol poisoning is a more immediate thing. You're probably just suffering a long hangover, or perhaps the two are unrelated. Make sure you drink plenty and perhaps take some ibuprofen or paracetamol for the pains.

you would know if it was alcohol poisoning, you would be puking all the time, probably not remember the night when you got drunk and we very ill

It would be unlikely. It's likely you have just got a bad hang over, drink water, eat starchy foods and maybe take some paracetamol for pain relief.  And as a health care worker, professionally I should advise you never to drink that much in the first place that you get a hang over!

well lets see. lambrini is wine right? so thats about 12-14% then a few vodka shots. it depends on the % of alcohol in the vodka but if it only made u tipsy i seriously doubt it.... it might be something else
