Could i have an std and not know it?

okay, so i gave this kid head. if he had an std, would i know it right away, or would it not show up for a while?

You can definitely have an STD and not know it. Most people don't experience symptoms and if they do, they are so mild that they are overlooked. So yes, you can get one and not know it. The norm for the symptoms to appear is 10-14 days.
