Could i hook up an amp to my boom box to make it louder?

  1. yes, as long as your boom box has RCA preouts, or if your amplifier has hi level inputs, you can use the speaker connectors on the back of the boom box and run just regular speaker wire from boom box to hi level inputs accordingly.  but the real question is, can you afford a power supply with enough amperage to power an external amplifier????
