  1. Actually you can keep your phone and you can keep the plan you are currently on.  All you have to do is keep paying your bill as it is now and you will have the same service you've always had for the same price.

The only time you need to sign a new contract is if you want to get a new phone and need to sign a contract to get it for a reduced price or FREE.

  2. You can keep your phone as long as you like. You can keep the service after your contract expires too. They will continue to charge you as they have during your contract period. However they may send you "reminders" that you're elegible for a new contract/phone. You don't have to respond unless you're interested in any of the offers.

  3. You can keep your phone. You could use it in another contract if it is with sprint.  Why didn't you just extend your old contract?  But if you decide to go to another carrier, you won't be able to use your phone.

  4. Just keep it and they'll keep charging you. My contract has been up for 9 months.
