  1. You must use up 3,500 Calories above your normal daily calorie usage to lose a pound.  So you would have to burn up an extra 28,000 calories.  Not too likely.  Also the US Army recommends you should lose a pound a week from exersize and another pound by cutting back on the cake and ice cream.  That's using up an extra 500 C. per day, 250 from biking.  That's  35 minutes of biking at 16 mph and skip a high caolorie food worth 250 calories every day  To lose 28,000 calories you would have to ride that bike at 16 mph for 17.3 hours a day for three days.  Be focused and determined to lose it by some easy dieting and some long slow distance jogging or biking.  Sign up for the www.presidentschallenge. The points you will earn are roughly equivilent to the amount of calories you burned up doing the workout.  Have determination and stay focused, make the plan become a steady part of your lifestyle from now until you are 100 years old.  Don't sweat the three day from now event, you will get more chances, you are still young.

  2. It all depends upon the number of calories you're consuming.

For example, if you're consuming 10,000 each day, I'd say the answer is no.  If you're consuming 1,000, the answer is probably yes.

You can do all the exercise in the world and still not lose fat if you also don't watch the number of calories you consume.

  3. Not healthily, no.  But if you take your time, over a month you could probably lose 5 lbs of fat while gaining some muscle and look leaner and meaner.  The main point is to keep constant on your daily routine of eating healthy and working out safely so you don't become exhausted.  Don't forget to eat healthy too.

  4. You'll shed off a few pounds for sure but not as fast as 8 in 3 days, unless you don't eat in 3 days, lol.  Seriously, maybe a pound in 3 days is more realistic.  Besides, losing weight should be a gradual process.  You don't have to rush it.
