Could i pierce my nose havin a keloid?

Question

i really really want my nose pierce && belly pierce but i

have 2 keloids in my ears one it never grew but the other keeps growin..i have heard people who had keloids && have had other piercin && it dont grow none..would i be safe if i pierce my nose with out havin a keloid.!?

If you are susceptible to having keloid scars, I would NOT pierce anything.  People who have a tendency to form keloid scars shouldn't get any piercings because there is a greater chance that the scars will form in the pierced area.  The below reference sites give a little more information on this, but I would go with a definite NO.

Not all piercing have keloids, and keloids often dissapear at times. I have had my belly button pierced and I had a tiny keloid for a while. The nose should be fine too. Just take care of them really well and they might not even form any keloids. :)

I agree with what has been previously stated.  If you are prone to them, don't do it.  I recently learned that if you have colored skin you are 16 times more likely to develop them.  I obviously don't know what color your skin is, but this might be something to really take into consideration before piercing your nose.
