  1. Goldfish need a ten gallon tank. Having this may fish in such a small tank will result in overcrowding and eventual death of your fish.

  2. you should be fine, just keep in mind in such a small tank you are pushing you limits. rule of thumb 1 inch of fish per 1 gal of tank.

  3. Hi RaDiCaL, to answer your question simply-yes your Convict may well hurt your Goldfish but so will your Plecos who are partial to slime coats. Of course you may find that your Goldfish kills the others due to it's large waste output. Goldfish have no compatible tank mates except other similar sized & types of Goldfish so you are looking at least having 2 tanks, it's no use saying you had the Goldy with other fish in the past that have not harmed it-the fact is you are putting all your pets at risk by not keeping them correctly.

  4. 10 gallons is too small for a goldfish. Massive overcrowding and your convict will end up killing the goldfish or vice versa with the goldfish's ammonia. Plecos generally don't get along together from what I have heard.

  5. pleco will suck the goldfish body and creates a hole not advisable to mix them.
