  1. umm no, and yes they would probably. And dude 55 gallons cant even keep my fish alive. Dude you need to get like 100 gall, or maybe even 200. They say for every inch there should be 5 gallons/

  2. I don't have much knowledge in regards to male/female, however I have two male ball pythons that I've had for 5 years.  They've resided together from day 1 and came from the same clutch of eggs from the breeder I got them from.    They are in a 55 gallon long and it's plenty big for them.   If you get a long tank; not a tall, you'll be totally fine for likely the entire lives of the snakes.    Some balls get bigger but mine are about 4.5 ft and are very happy in that size.

Keep in mind that snakes aren't comfortable with wide open and lots of space.   :)  Good to put some logs and fake plants to give them things to grip and push against.

    Good luck!

  3. Okay "Dude" that is for fish and turtles. A 55 should be fine for them. They wont mate every two months, but they will mate. Make sure they are the same or close to the same size or else the bigger one (most likey the female) will eat the smaller one or dominate over it. Yeah, you should be fine, you might want a bigger tank (75g) or you can build a cage, but you don't need a 100g. Good luck and be sure to watch them to see how well they get a long.

  4. Mj is mostly right.  However depending on the size of the ball pythons they might not even need a 55.  They might like it.  But ball pythons like to feel secure is smaller areas.  So the tank size depends on the snake sizes.  They won't mate either unless they are of certain size usually about 3-4 years of age and about 1000 grams.  So unless they are that size they will not mate.  So i am guessing they are younger snakes.  Because you would have already most likely looked into breeding them.  I hope every thing works well for you and both of your snakes.  If they do mate and you are selling them make sure that you take care of the eggs and make sure you know what morph the are.  Unless you snakes are pure breed normals you shouldn't have any trouble.  But if they aren't then you babies could be worth over $400.  Maybe more.  Take care of your snakes.  Hope this helps.

  5. Yeah, a 20 gallon can support a full grown ball python, and they like the company. A 55 gallon tank would be great for them. They shouldn't mate until they are 3-5 years old, so I wouldn't worry about them. Plus, if the have babies you can sell them. You could make $400 by selling 8 of them at $50 each. One more thing - THEY DON'T EAT OTHER SNAKES! MJ says they do... No offense to MJ, but she was wrong.
