  1. Natasha, a Tropheus Dubosi IS an African, it's just from Tangyangika.  Without knowing what else you have in that tank, and the tank size, outwardly I'd agree with answer 1 just to be safe.  Generally speaking Tropheus do best on their own.  Now while I sit here and tell you that, I have my Dubosi in with my Mbuna and Haps.  However, my tank footprint is a 180 gallon, 6' x 2' x 2'.  In a large enough tank, this could work, in a smaller tank no way.  I put that Dubosi in with my peacocks in a 20 overnight before I set up the 180, and he wiped out all my Aulnocara Baenchi's that little chithead lol.  However, that's my own fault.  In a tank size like that, it was just asking for trouble, even though it was like 12 hours.  Larger tank, I can say yes it could work because I'm doing it.  Depends on tank size and total occupants.

  2. personally i woulsdnt reccomend it, but it would depend on the size of all the fish and the aggression level.

  3. NO! never put any other fish with chiclids other then african chiclids. If you do you'll have fish swimming around with chunks out of them untill one day he will MAGICALLY disapear. don't do it or its suicide for the tropheus duboisi.
