  1. George Baker is one of the top flat jockeys in the UK. Think he comes in at about 5ft 11 and has legs like twiglets as a consequence!. As mentioned previously, the weight is the main thing. If you're prepared to live on Red Bull and sauna's, then good luck to you!

  2. There is no height limit for jockeys.  There is a weight limit however.  As long as you don't weigh over 115lbs you should be fine.

  3. Probably not. There are rules and regulations for jockey height and weight.

  4. Why not!  You can even be a midget.

  5. IF YOU WEIGHT LESS THAN 110 LBS.

DONALD PIERCE WAS APPROX  5' 10"

AND HE RACE FOR 10 YEARS.

  6. You can be as tall as you want, you just need to weigh 125 pounds or less.

  7. There are no height restrictions, just weight.

Here in the UK and Ireland the taller jockeys tend to all by National Hunt riders (jump racing) as you can weigh more.  I've seen some jump jockeys who cannot be that far off 6ft tall.

It will be hard as you have to maintain a regular weight, the average jump jockey will weigh about 10-10.5 stone (140-147lbs)
