Could i use nail polish remover to clean my trackball on my sidekick 3?

but if i can't or if there's a better way in cleaning it?

what should i clean it with & how?

nothings wrong with it or anything, it's just kind of dirty & feels weird when i use it so i want it to be like brand new ish.

NO NO NO, DO NOT USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER!!!!!

The nail polish remover will eat at the material the ball is made of.  Go to a local dollar store and buy a small bottle of GooGone.  Use this with a cue-tip (ear cleaner) to clean the ball.  GooGone is also great for cleaning the casing of your unit.  Just polish afterwards.
