Could i use the State University grant from one university and apply it towards another.?

I was accepted to two Cal State Universities. CSUN and SDSU. I want to goto SDSU but i want to used the State University Grant (SUG) for SDSU.

  1. Not neccessarily. Though both schools offer that same type of grant, considering that they are both part of the CSU system, you are never guaranteed that, simply because you were awarded a particular grant at one school, that you would most definitely receive that same grant at another.

    Different schools receive different amounts of government funding depending on different factors, such as enrollment levels. So, one school might have more funds of a particular garnt to award than another.

    You are best to speak with a Financial Aid Counselor at the school you plan to attend to ensure that your University Grant will be applicable there.
