Recently I haven't been able to sleep, well not recently, it's just I can never get to sleep when I want to, I'll be laying their for about a half hour and I won't fall asleep. I've constantly been up all night, til 6 am, then I fall asleep. I also started getting headaches, stomach aches, my paranoia is coming back in, chest pains, shivering when it isn't cold, sore throats. I figured I was just getting sick cause I wasn't getting enough sleep, I don't know if it could be something more, but I really need to get to sleep because of school.

  1. The best advice my doctor has given me apart from "remember to take your pills":

"TURN OFF THE TV AN HOUR BEFORE BED - READ  A BOOK!!"

    This is my bedtime routine:

    ( 2 hours before bed)

Something to eat - sounds weird but I have been eating things like porridge or cereal or something warm & filling.

    cup of tea

An hour of TV - go to bed

Read or play game on mobile phone - tonight I am on the computer ;)

soothing music, birdsounds or rainforest or waterfalls

    zzzzzz....zzzzzzzz

To stop feeling cold - try socks (not too thick)

Try a natural herb for sleeping & I'd suggest going to visit your doctor...

  2. It sounds like you may be suffering from depression, is anything worrying you at the moment, e.g. exams? family? friends?

I doubt you do have a sleep disorder, inability to sleep, or insomnia, is one of the signs of depression. Lack of sleep alone cannot cause depression, but it does play a role. Lack of sleep caused by another medical illness or by personal problems can make depression worse. An inability to sleep that lasts over a long period of time is also an important clue that someone may be depressed.

I would advise you going to your GP because this is clearly affecting your health and may start to have an affect on your school work.

  3. I also have trouble sleeping :l. You could have insomnia and are most likely ill because of lack of sleep.

Just a question, are you in your summer holidays?

If so I suffer to sleep in the summer holidays because i am nto doing enough stuff.
