Could it be days before my friend checks her cell phone messages?

She goes to my school but doesn't have many friends. I invited her to a party on Friday but i don't think she gets many messages. I won't see her in person. Do you think she might not check it for days? Is there a signal that will let her know she has a message without her checking for messages?

Well....maybe your friend has been busy lately.  Drop by or mail something.  Maybe one of her parents will find it in the mail and notice that she hasn't talked to you.  Maybe she's been busy or maybe had a stressful week. Those are some of the reasons why she isn't mad at you, just busy.

You can call her up and talk to her rather than text.  You can also call her up, and then it will usually give you a prompt to page her as well, if you do that, she will get two different notices at the same time.  Do you live near her?  Do you know her mailing address? Maybe you can drop by, or mail her an invitation via snail mail!
