  1. It all depends on how long you have been on your thyroid medication. If it has been a long time and the mood swings are fairly new, than I would think it was another factor. If the med is new and the moodiness came soon after I would directly link the two.

  2. I have experienced the same situation with my smoking patches in terms of mood swings. Look at your medicine. Stress does make you moody but if you are feeling that your behavior is not in tune with your personality (e.g. more mood swings than normal) check the medicine's website or information material from the pharmacy, as mood swings may be a side effect.

In terms of tips I don't have kids. But just realize your not super woman. You can't do everything yourself or do everything in one day. Some days you are going to do more than you thought others you may not accomplish anything. Just role with it unfortunately we are all human and some things we can't control unfortunately (e.g. traffic, other people's reactions/behaviors etc.)

But I think that when you change your medication, you have to talk to your doctor ASAP because worrying so much is not good for your mental health and I have a suspicion your body is not reacting to your medication correctly and probably has to put you on something else or perhaps an anti-anxiety or antidepressant if you both you feel you need it. As having a low active thyroid has been known to cause depression.

Good Luck with your situation. I know it will always be okay. Just talk to your doctor and everything will work out! :-)
