when you ask a newsagent to check your numbers through a machine to check your numbers how do you know that you havent won and they are just saying that you havent and then keep the ticket ..a lot of shop owners just go into a corner on a machine and then just come back and say no its not a winner

  3. i would never trust shop keepers on anything, why on earth do you?

  4. theyre supposed to rip it up in front of you

  5. i would place the lottery at a place that i felt you couldnt trust the shop keeper

  6. when you have a winner a receipt comes out when not it just beeps

  7. then check them online....i always ask for my ticket back if i do go to a shop..

  9. The only way to safe guard against this is to fill in your name and address on the reverse before you hand over your ticket. If you even suspect this has happened you should contact Camelot Security Department with the date, time and place ticket was purchased (assuming it was checked at a retailers other than where it was bought).
