  1. It is not possible to go back in time. The past doesn't exist except as a memory and you can't go somewhere that doesn't exist.Only time travel into the future is possible because by the time you get there the future will exist.

  2. Traveling back in time is a fantasy, as most say, but it could perhaps be possible. I've read an article saying that if we could travel faster than light, we could easily travel to future, but traveling back in time is much tricky. It said, traveling back in time could be possible only if we get times faster than light. If we do that, time will slow down, come to a stop and get us back in time! Quite like sci-fi, isn't it? In my view, time travel is impossible. If it was, why don't we have any tourists from future?

  3. Nothing moves faster than light. That we know of. you can't "go" back, but you can "see" back. The Sun could have gone out 8 1/2 minutes ago, but it takes about 8 1/2 minutes for it's light to reach us. next time you look up and see a star your seeing that star as it was a long time ago.

  4. The most plausible way to travel through time is to create a wormhole in an area of space where time travels slower or faster and transport yourself to that point.

To expound on your statement reffering to the speed of light:

This isn't really how time travel works. Time is a dimension like the three dimensions of space (forward/back, left/right, up/down). According to Einstein's equation E=MC^2 it would take more energy than is available in the universe to propel an object with mass to the speed of light (C). One might conclude from Einstein's theorems that only energy can travel the speed of light because it contains no mass.

In your question I believe you are referring to the idea that C is the ultimate universal speed and as you approach you begin moving slower through time and faster through space. So one might assume that you would eventually reach a threshold where time stopped and once you began traveling faster than light you could begin traveling back through time. If Einstein is correct this would not be the case. Only energy is able to reach the speed of C. Now think back to the idea that the faster you travel through space the slower you move through time, this means once you reach the speed of light you are no longer moving through time and only existing in the three dimensions of space (it could mean you would occupy all points of space at the same "moment" and that seems more interesting to me, imagine a universe with no time).

That might have been more than you asked for, but I thought someone might find it interesting.

  5.   If you could travel faster than the speed of light you could fly away from the present then look back and see the past catching up to you.

THe time base of the universe makes it impossible to exceed the speed of light.

  6. No. We will all be held accountable for all our actions, and there is no way to ever change that.

  7. No

After all time has no relation with the speed of light

Past Time is the result of our past deeds and it does not stay in a second world that we can go back to time by travelling faster than light

  8. You can't travel faster than light, so if one were to go back in time, it would not be via that method. The best hope for time travel to the past is with wormholes. These remain purely theoretical at present, and any technology to create them/make them traversable will take thousands of years to develop.
