Your question is not farfetched at all. The fact there has been a number of well known societies throughout history that have attempted just that. The n**i's and the KKK are two such examples. Could there be more "unknown" organizations? I would not doubt it. Secrecy in action would neccessary in promoting their specific race and removing unwanted other gene traits.

Keep in mind though this is only my opinion and I do not know or are associated with any such groups. I am simply reflecting from history and the evil that intertwines mankind.

Genetically, there is no such thing as race, so how any particular genotype could be safeguarded is an ambiguous question.
