Could it be staff infection?... i dont think so, but i was just wondering.?

I have my nose pierced and i recently got in gauged by putting a hoop in it. i did this wednesday and it still hurts and has a small bump formed around it. i think it is from the guy having to force the hoop thru (since it went from a not gauged stud to like a 16 or 18 gauge hoop) and it probably irritated it. but since this afternoon, i feel very nauseated and my throat is sore. one of my friends in my 6th period class felt the same way today and i didn't start feeling it until i sat by her in class. idk why it made me think of staff. I'm just paranoid about that sorta thing=]

Ask the piercer, if he is a licensed piercer, he should be able to answer your question. If you are seriously, worried, go to a doctor. At least for peace of mind. You don't wanna play around with a possible infection.
