I'm 14 years old and I have these purple lines on my legs and I think that they are stretch marks but I'm not sure if its even normal for a 14 year old girl to have stretch marks. None of my friends have stretch marks or anything so I'm just wondering what these purple lines could be.

  1. You may have them a lot of people get them during puberty because our bodies are growing which cause our skin to stretch which makes stretch marks. Their are things you can use to help diminish them like cocoa butter or bio-oil. It is normal though to have them, even though we dont like them =)

  2. they probly are strech makes...if they look like a spider web it might be a spider vein.....it is very normal to get strech marks during puberty..i have them so do my friends so dont worry about it...if you really dont like them you can get a special lotion to help reduce them...if your really serious you can have them like lazered off

  3. Ah the purple lines of growth. Yes these are stretch marks I had them around 14 too when I started to grow more. I'm now 21 and they do fade sometimes there no noticeable at all. Bio-Oil can help to reduce them if your worried about them but there all apart of becoming a woman. i have them on my hips, stomach, b***s, arms, top of my thighs and behind my knees so your lucky

  4. There is a lot of stretch mark treatment available on the market these days. Some treatments are more effective in fading or even eliminating stretch marks, but the success of the treatment depends on a few different things. First of all is the color and age of the stretch marks. If they have faded to a flesh color they are much harder to heal. Second of all, ethnicity and heredity play a role in which creams, oils and other products or equipment will succeed in healing stretch marks.

The cheapest stretch mark treatment available is creams made especially for stretch marks. The most effective creams contain ingredients such as cocoa butter, lanolin and wheat germ oil. These creams actually heal and rebuild the damaged skin. While they may not be able to completely eliminate stretch marks, they may at least make the stretch marks fade to a barely visible scar. A good recommendation will be Palmer Cocoa Butter Cream.

Another popular & effective cream that you might wish to consider is Strivectin. It has a bioactive topical formula that has a combination of skin firming agents to reduce visible wrinkles and make skin appear firmer
