  1. I'm Sorry to disagree...

The people that are asking why Ms. Palin didn't control her daughter NEVER WERE teenagers.

This is why they ask.  Because we all did EVERY SINGLE thing our parents asked us to when we were tee....I forgot

they were never teenagers so they didn't have to bother to listen to anyone.

  2. The Palin's are part of real America. Sarah will have a better understanding of the challenges we and children face.

  3. I would say that's highly likely, it would certainly make sense

However, there's a greater likelihood that they WERE teenagers at some point, and there's an even better possibility that they didn't do everything their parents taught them or told them to do...I'd say the chances that they may have made a mistake or two as teenagers, has an even greater probability

@Sunshine: Palin's daughter is a senior in high school, she will graduate before the baby arrives...When the baby gets here, she will be a married ADULT (she will turn 18 before the baby arrives), who graduated high school and has a working husband...No welfare...So where's the problem?

EDIT: Some of you are either unaware of, or distorting a few facts...Palin is PRO-CONTRACEPTION, and she has ALWAYS said so...She has NEVER said that she was against birth control.

How about reading Sarah's actual words?

In 2002, when she was running for lieutenant governor, Palin sent an e-mail to the anti-abortion Alaska Right to Life Board saying she was as "pro-life as any candidate can be" and has "adamantly supported our cause since I first understood, as a child, the atrocity of abortion."

Palin said last month that no woman should have to choose between her career, education and her child. She is pro-contraception and said she's a member of a pro-woman but anti-abortion group called Feminists for Life.

"I believe in the strength and the power of women, and the potential of every human life," she said.

"She is Christian and pro-life, but also a supporter of birth control: she's a member of Feminists For Life (FFL), an anti-abortion, pro-contraception organization. In 2002, she wrote a letter to FFL stating that she had "adamantly supported our cause since I first understood, as a child, the atrocity of abortion."

Also, Palin believes 100% in teaching s*x education, she believes that it should be taught at home, by parents, so that the morals, self-respect and responsibility (that schools don't teach) can be added to it, and that kids will not be afraid to discuss s*x with their parents

She has also said that she is FOR 'basic' s*x education in school, but against 'explicit or graphic' s*x education in schools

BTW, do you believe that teenagers who take s*x education in schools, learn all about contraceptives, and have access to contraceptives, do NOT get pregnant?...If so, I have this very nice piece of property for sale...Well, not so much a property, more of a bridge really...Interested?

  4. That stands to reason.

  5. Probably.... I don't have any kids of my own just yet... but I work with teens and was one at one time... and I know that everything goes in one ear and out the other... and it doesn't matter what it is or who it's from...

  6. The same LIBERAL media condemning Sarah Palin are the same media that were blasting Jamie-Lynn Spears and her mother all over the place when she got pregnant at 16. They thought that was wonderful. Now that a GOP VP candidate's daughter is 17 and pregnant it's reprehensible. Typical media bias at work.

  7. No they're people that are mearly wondering why the same people that preach all this out of touch abstinence, don't drink, don't smoke, don't do nothing but go to church and vote McCain bull and cant control their own children...

  8. I know! They ought to be glad that she didn't have an abortion!

  9. hypocrites is all they are do as i say don't do as i do. plain and simple its the american way

  10. Yep. lol.

That, or they don't remember being a teenager, or where fortunate not to have gotten caught or in a tough situation like that themselves.

  11. good point, anyone knows you can't control a teenager, i don't care what you do.

  12. If Obama's Mama was 18 when he was born, I guess she was 17 when she got pregnant. I don't see why this is even an issue. (I sort of think that Obama's Mama was sort of a Liberal pioneer in this regard)

  13. Most teenagers' parents usually teach them responsibility when it comes to s*x, but that's clearly not the case with anybody who insists on abstinence-only education.

  14. I have 3 teenagers, all of whom are well aware of birth control and how to use it.

None of mine have dropped out of school either.
