Question:

Could it even be possible?

I am 23 years old and my husband and I ttc for one month. I wasn't expecting to get my period until Sept. 7. I had a feeling to take a test Saturday, and much to my surprise, it was positive. I took two more tests in the next two days, one not even with morning urine, and they were positive. Could I be pregnant with twins if I already have a positive test and am not expecting my period for another week? Let me know what you think.

Oh yeah, the only symptoms I have are frequent urination, a little bit of sleepiness (when I wake up at 5:30 to go to the bathroom, I can't get comfortable, and just lie there awake), and really bad indigestion.

  1. i think  u are pregnant and you may have to wait about 3 more weeks because the doctor may say its to early to tell

  2. I don't think being pregnant with multiples would cause you to have early positives.

But congrats, sounds like you are pregnant!!

  3. congrats!  SOunds like you;re def pregnant, but with twins, not necesarily.

  4. I mean you know 5 days before I took a test on a saturday and wasn't due till the following Friday and it was positive and I have twins so yes its always possible the natural probability of twins is like 1 in 250 pregnancies, that was out of a book i read while pregnant just can't remember the name of it.  anyways your doc will know for sure my blood levels for HGC where higher than normal for my LMP...your doc will know for sure but either way be happy to have a baby congrats!

  5. no necessarily with twins but there is definitely one baby in there!! lol make and early appointment for a scan to confirm whether you are having twins or not just to put you mind at ease

  6. Maybe...But you could have ovulated sooner than you thought. Which could cause you to get pregnant sooner than you thought. You may have even ovulkated twice in the same cycle, it happens.

  7. I dont know if thats an indication of twins or not..  only an ultrasound will reveal that for sure!

    Congrats  you're pregnant!
