Jump racing is going through a boom period in this country at a time when Flat racing is actively seeking new ways to engage a greater level of public interest. However, while the RSPCA in this country has had a long and fruitful relationship with the racing authorities to improve safety, there are other animal welfare groups whose sole mission is to see jump racing abolished.
